With sadness, we share the passing of Wayne Hiram Bessey (Barrie, Ontario). Wayne, born on December 8, 1942, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judith; his son James; his granddaughter Taylor; and his close friend Sharon. He is survived by: his siblings, Brian and Judy (Mitch); his children, Donna, Kimberly, Lisa (Stephen), Carla (Grant) and Darren (Laurie); his daughter-in-law Connie; his grandchildren, Brittany, Lawrence (Jennifer), Justin, Madison (Michael), MacKenzie (Taylor), Brady (Lili), Jennifer, Bree-Anna (Tristan) and Rebecca; his great grandchildren, AJ, Brooklyn, Charlie, Quincy, Alara, Arizona, Malcolm and Mabelle; and his wonderful neighbours, Lisa and Bruce. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ferndale Banquet Hall (24 Ferndale Industrial Dr, Barrie, ON L4N9V6).
