He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella and George; and his siblings, Mamie, Melita, Harold, Alphonse, Maida, Ella, Helena and Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his brother Eric (Faye); his children, Wayne (Lisa), Terry (Anne), Carol, Ann (Terry) and Karen (Dave); his grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Tyler (Emma), Ben (Kate), Shawna (Mike), Kristen and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Gregory, Bruce, Oliver and Scott.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Salvation Army Barrie Citadel (151 Lillian Crescent, Barrie L4N5X5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Barrie Union Cemetery (338 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON L4M4S4).
