As Gertrude departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gertrude may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gertrude leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alex Dupuis and Theresa Dupuis.
Like the trooper she was she carried on and was in her 80th year when she contracted Covid and had to leave the job she loved at the camp.
