He was predeceased by: his brother Mario Borg; his brother-in-law John Xuereb; his parents, John Borg and Polly Borg (Borg); and his parents-in-law, Robert and Margaret Bolton (Holtzhauer).

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Borg (Bolton); his children, Jason Borg (Leigh-Anne), Justin Borg (Angela) and Krystal Borg; his grandchildren, Haley, Jaxen, Mia, Katie, Nero, Jemha and Gabby; and his siblings, Carmen Xuereb, Doris Borg, David (Irene Borg), John (Connie Borg), Cetta Borg, Raphael (Marina Borg), Raymond (Bonnie Bolton), Roy (Peggy Bolton), Sandy (Dave Kelly), Lori Bolton and Trish Bolton.
