It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Hudson Rieger of Beachburg, Ontario, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. “Dear Rieger Family, My sincerest and deepest condolences to you all. You know, and lots of people have told you, how great Bruce was to so many of us. He was truly an inspiration to me, both as an instructor of the very first ODA over 22 yrs ago and as a friend who took Jay and I ice-climbing with him to Bancroft. I got to speak to Bruce a few years ago in Cobden as both our kids were playing hockey one evening. I still remember he had that aura of a genuine human being I always admired. Ross”
