He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Terry (Lisa), Greg (Mary Ouida) and Jenny (Alex); his grandchildren, Eric, Matthew, Thomas, Maggie, Sam, Mikayla and Jakob; his sister Susanne; and his sister-in-law Henrike.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity United Church (4287 William St, Beamsville, ON L0R1B0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

“My wife and I are saddened to hear of John's passing. John was a colleague of ours at Brewers Warehousing Co. (The Beer Store). He was very supportive and a friend to me in my role as Purchasing Manager, especially in matters pertaining to labour relations. It was great to see John & Judy at the home of our mutual friend John Dew a number of years ago when we had the opportunity to catch up with each other and share stories. Our condolences to Judy and family. Sincerely, Jean & John Bolton”
