He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Smith and Isobel Reid; and his brother-in-law Larry Apps. He is survived by : his siblings, Ron (Dorothy), Carol (Jim), Judy (Tom) and Brenda; and the mother of his children Kimberley Smith (Moorhead).
