He was predeceased by : his sister Zelda; and his parents, Mae and Jack. He is survived by : his wife Karen Nicoll (Modig); his daughters, Lori (John) and Ellen (Dean); his grandchildren, Trevor, Max, Gregory and Peyton; his siblings, John (Nancy) and Jill (Dave); and his nieces and nephews, Ken (Jan), Judy (Steve) and Chris (Tanya).
