“Marion was of a ripe age, and while the death of a mother is always of great significance regardless of age, it was nevertheless less of a shock for me to read of this than to learn that Lynne Marie, at a much younger age, had predeceased her. I would welcome a note from you anytime, and please accept my sincere condolences to you and Donna and all of your family which I heard so much about from Marion, always with pleasure and with pride. My family and I attended your family concert at Victory”

“Larry, You probably don't recognize my name, Kathleen Russell, but you might remember Kathleen Fairley of Wick, student of Marion's, and friend of Lynne Marie. Marion and I maintained a correspondence until recent years, when our life circumstances interrupted, but I did continue to send birthday cards to Lynne Marie. Last week the one I sent last month was returned, leading me to make enquiries, and I was quite taken aback to learn that she had died in November. to be continued”
