With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bernard Joseph Tessier (Belle River, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the vast expanse of eternity, Bernard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bernard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his children, Remi Tessier (Sandy), Bernie Tessier (Lindsay) and Lawrence Tessier; his sister Joyce Mailloux (Ron); and his cousin Bernard.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St, Belle River, ON N8L1K8). A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:20 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Church (488 St Charles St, Belle River, ON N8L1K8).
