We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2020, at the age of 80, Don Gillis (Belle River, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother Bob Gillis. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn; his children, Shawn Gillis, Tammy Gillis and Heather Gillis (Paul Lair); his grandchildren, Desirée Moro (Mario), Gabrielle Lair, Jordan Lair (Katie Zuefle), Timothy, Lillie and Charlie; and his siblings, John Gillis (Annette), Ed Gillis (Chris), Mike Gillis (Debbie) and Theresa Lussier (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In kindness, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex would be appreciated.

He was gentle and kind and patient and he always made me giggle!!!! I know that you have all dedicated the last little while to giving him the best quality of life that he could have.
