Donna Drouillard Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Donna, at the age of 79. Loving wife of Ken Drouillard Sr. (1999). Cherished mom to Jo-Ann Rocheleau (Ted), Janet Neuts (Kevin (2022)), Ken Drouillard Jr. (Michelle), and Mark Drouillard (Lindy). Loving grandma, affectionally known as grandma at the pool (G.A.T.P), to Jennifer (Perry), Samantha (Jon), T.J. (Lauren), Kevin Jr., Nicole, Aaron, Renee, Ken, Ryan, Michael, Anna, Laura, Cameron, Emma, Abbey, and GG to Charlee, Rosie, and Theo. Dear daughter to Tom (2002) and Doris (2005) Drouillard, and daughter-in-law to Henry (2002) and Ruth (2004) Drouillard. Donna will be deeply missed by Mildred "Babe" Brouillette, and close family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses and PSWs, for all of their support. Donna worked as a hairdresser, assisted with Drouillard's Driving School as a receptionist, worked 18 years as a PSW at Country Village Extended Care, before retiring to care for Ken and their parents. Donna was known for her creativity, sewing, quilting, events planning, and her themed Christmas events for the children. She was very generous, always wanting to help people and a great encourager to her children and grandchildren. She had a deep love for Jesus her Lord and Savior, and referred to her grandchildren as "children of God", who she prayed for often. Donna was all about the importance of family. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 7, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St, Belle River. 226-796-9267). Visitation will continue on Friday December 8, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery (Woodslee). If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Donna can be made out to Downtown Mission, Street Help, or the Belle River-Rochester Goodfellows.
