She was predeceased by: her husbands, Wilfred Tapping and William Silk; her daughter Nancy Tapping; her grandson Jeremy; her parents, Bernard O'Connor and Jean (Victor Cantalini); her siblings, Gordon O'Connor (Patricia) and Sandra Johnston (Alexander); and her brother-in-law Tom Silk.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Tapping, Kellie LaForest (Charles), Vickie Tapping and Jodie Audet (Michael); her stepdaughter Margret Crane (Michael); and her grandchildren, Chris, Cheri, Jennifer, Joe, Mark, Ken, Mike, Joshua, Zach and Jake.
