With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Olijnyk (Belle River, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diana; and his parents, Michael Olijnyk and Maria Olijnyk. He is survived by: his children, Aaron and Kristen Olijnyk (Justin Schram); his sister Vera Kfoury (Fawzi Kfoury); and his nieces and nephews, Leyla Kfoury (Patrick) and Colin Kfoury.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 399 (506 Notre Dame St, Belle River, ON N0R1A0).
