He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Chauvin and Lottie Chauvin; and his siblings, Ray (late Carol), Edward, Steve (late Brenda), Norman, Bernadette Lebert (late Urbain) and Theresa Chauvin.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Wayne (Leah), Donna Ferris (Dave), Paul (Sandy), Barb Rockett (Joe), Emily Soufane (Jesse), Brian Chauvin (Adria), Jessica Lorkovich (Michael), David Ferris, Catherine Chauvin (Mac), Christopher Ferris (Kelsey), Julia Bodnar and Jarrett Chauvin; and his sister Shirley Laporte (Felix). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
