He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Blaise Mailloux and Juliette Mailloux (Janisse); and his siblings, Marie (Dan), Albert, Elaine, Paul and Jules (Dana). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and great nieces.

“My condolences to the Mailloux family. I had the pleasure of working with John the last 5 years or so. He had a quirky sense of humour, telling people he wanted to have a baby. He had a big heart and often talked about the family get togethers for birthdays, anniversaries or holidays. We had some good conversations about his faith in Jesus. There are many people at Ford who are saddened at his passing. He will be missed by many.”
