We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2022, at the age of 81, Joe Rooney (Belle River, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Rooney to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Doreen; his grandson Ethan; and his siblings, William Rooney (Hazel), Peter Rooney and Cecilia Hoffman (Doug).

He is survived by : his children, Michael Rooney (Jennifer), Elizabeth Silverio (Steve), James Rooney (Rhonda), Debbie Milling (Stuart) and Joe Rooney (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Cassidy, Isabelle, Andrew, Manny, Kory, Mallory, Zachary, Ryan, Justin, Stephanie, Brittnee, Rylee, MacKenzie and Nathan; and his siblings, Mary-Ann Cook (John), Margaret Cook (Bill), Bob Rooney (Ann), Patrick Rooney (Beatrice) and Edward Rooney (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In kindness, memorial donations to Epilepsy Foundation of Canada or St. Simon & St. Jude Church would be appreciated.
