She was predeceased by: her husband Romeo Laporte; her son Danny Laporte; her parents, Charles Donahue and Rose Donahue; and her siblings, Madeline Goudreau (Robert), Bernard "Whitey" Donahue, Edward Donahue and Raymond Donahue (late Shirley).
She is survived by: her child Kim Laporte; and her sister Marjorie Sylvestre (Maurice). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St, Belle River, ON N8L1K8). A procession will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Church (488 St Charles St, Belle River, ON N8L1K8).
