He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella and Alfred; his brother Garry Sauve (late Lona Pouliot); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Murphy (Rita) and Daniel Murphy (Ellen).

He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Larocque; his children, Wanda Hickmott (Frank), Wayne Jr., Marcie Bak (David), Fran Brown (late Jeff) and Christine Walton (Rob); his siblings, Roland Sauve (late Kay), Shirley Trepanier (late Bill), Roger Sauve (late Carol) and Judy Harrison; and his pet Lucy.
