She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Lafond and Genevieve Lafond; and her sister Denise Beemer. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Katherine (Joel), Rachelle (Brad) and Kyle (Becca); her grandchildren, Chloe, Olivia, Lexie, Zoey and Blake; her siblings, Donald Lafond and Beverley St Pierre; her parents-in-law, Leo Campeau, Betty Campeau and Alexander; her stepfather-in-law Gerry Alexander; and her sister-in-law Theresa Campeau. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St, Belle River, ON N8L1K8). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd, Tecumseh, ON N8N5G8). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery (1730 & 1731, Highway 42, Belle River, ON N8L1N7).
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated in loving memory of Yvette.
