He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Payne and Beatrice (Shephard). He is survived by: his children, Shawn Payne (Diana) of Brighton, Kenny Payne (Jennelle) of Brighton and Tommy Payne of Brighton; and his brothers, Frederick Payne of Belleville, Kenneth Payne of Trenton, James Payne (Linda) of Brighton, Ted Payne (Jean) of Brighton, Tom Payne of Whitby and Eric Richard Payne of Brighton. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Thursday Night Old Timers Hockey, Brighton, would be appreciated by the family.
