With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Ellis (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on November 7, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellis and Dora Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ellis; his daughter Janet Van Velzen (Peter); his siblings, Deborah Gorrill (Charles), Lorne Ellis (Pam) and Sherla Gorrill (Keith); and his grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas (Bronwyn).

If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Centre Hastings People Helping People Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
