He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parkhurst and Ethel Parkhurst; his wife Audrey Parkhurst; his sons, Gregory Parkhurst and John James "Jim" Parkhurst; and his siblings, Gordon (late Hilda), Bernard (late Georgina), Eunice (late Al), Norma (late Leo), George, Sheila and Judy.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sherry Barker (Rob) and Steven Parkhurst (Suzie); his great grandchildren, Brandon (Rachel), Daniel (Alyssa), Nathan (Paige) and Carley; his great great grandchildren, Alexandra and Avery; and his siblings, Eurithe (late Al), Lawrence (Luella) and Ross (Betty).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hastings & Prince Edward Humane Society, Special Olympics Quinte, or Children's Safety Village Belleville would be appreciated by the family.
