With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anastasia Berezny (Belleville, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Berezny; and her son Dr. Gary Berezny (Sue Berezny) of Belleville. She is survived by: her children, Allan Berezny of Vancouver and Lorraine Berezny of Belleville; and her grandchildren, Tim Berezny (Laura Berezny) of Barrie, Ontario, Jeff Berezny of Portland, Oregon, Mark Berezny (Michelle Berezny) of Portland, Oregon, Rylan Decorato (Kristin Decorato) of Banff, Alberta, Tyler Decorato of Squamish, B. C. and Lewisia Berezny-Dvorak (Adam Dvorak) of Vancouver.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Burke Funeral Home (150 Church St, Belleville, ON K8N3B9). A reception will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anastasia (Nellie) may be made to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward.
