It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artur Schleifer (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on March 12, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Erika Schleifer; his children, Garry (Patrick), Christine (Eldon) and Susanne (Don); his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael (Kaileigh), Katherine, Isabella and Eric; his great grandchildren, Liam and Kieran; his siblings, Dagmar, Inge and Harold; his sisters-in-law, Regina, Anneliese and Elke; and his friends, Germany and Austria.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Belleville General Hospital Foundation or Society of St. Vincent De Paul would be appreciated.
