She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo VanVolkenburg and Laurena VanVolkenburg; and her husband Melville Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Melanie, Brian (Rhonda) and Sheri; her grandchildren, Bradley (Becky) and Brittany (Ryan Jones); and her great grandchildren, Endrea, Avery, Cooper and Hadley. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Belleville (80 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R4).
