He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Jones (Ed); and his parents, Orval Cooney and Marjorie Cooney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hickey; his children, Toni Hewton, Tim (Carrie), Brandon Hoffman and Blaze (Krista) of Brian, JR.; and his brother Bill Cooney (Carrie). He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bob Cooney's House (258 Flindall Rd, Trenton, ON K8V5P7).
