Brian King Laurie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian King Laurie (Belleville, Ontario), born in Sheffield, England, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn his son Scott Laurie, daughter Elizabeth Shermeto (Dennis), Suzanne Scrutton (Ryan), grandchildren, Jessica, Gregory, Rebecca, Bradley (Juliana), Deion and Nikolas and Great Grandson Connor Sonny. Survived by his Brother Ian Laurie (Margaret). Brother in Law Vic Townend. He has gone to be with his loving wife Norma, who predeceased him 10 yrs ago.
Brian fought a valiant battle with Alzheimer's, he spent the last few years in Hastings Manor where he was treated with wonderful care by the many amazing staff there. The family are so grateful for the love and kindness shown to Brian and family over the last week, we cannot thank you enough.
