Carl James Coons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl James Coons (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewart Coons and Margaret Coons; his wife Valerie Coons; his daughter Margaret Ann; and his sisters, Margaret Peters and Rhonda St. Louis.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Coons (Wanda) and Howie Coons (Chantal); his grandchildren, Jason, Nicole, Ryan, Jessica (Matt), Zachary (Anastasia) and Carly (Alex); his great grandchildren, Nya, Dane, Locklyn, Eli, Everett, Elliott, Owin and Cooper; and his significant other Doreen Butler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #99 (51 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON K8P3R2).
