We bid farewell to Catherine Gichengo (Belleville, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 18, 2025 at the age of 55. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Gichengo. She is survived by: her mother Grace Wangechi; her husband Julius; her children, Grace and Dave Kiiru; and her siblings, Peter, Herman, Mercy, Simon, Rosemary, Michael, John and Margaret. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Quinte Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:30 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (412 River Rd, Corbyville, ON K0K1V0). A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
