She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Shannon; her parents, Lillian Meagher (Pringle) and Allan Meagher; and her siblings, Marg, Sherry, Bernie, Allan, Larry, Gerry and Jim.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Muldoon (Ray), Marla Girvan (Clive), Norma Shannon, Ted Shannon (Lori) and Tim Shannon (Karen); her grandchildren, Brion (Kelly), Krista (Greg), Lara (Adam), Colleen (James), Chris, Matt (Jackie), Hanna and Abbey; her great grandchildren, Hadley, Haydn, Isla, Eliot, Ash, Jade, Riley, Kora, Sullivan, Colin, Skye, Paige and Wynn; her brother Dennis Meagher (Rose); and her sister-in-law Heather Meagher. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by Catherine's family.
