She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Weir and Elva Weir; and her siblings, Arnold (Viola), Dwayne and Lynda Watt.

She is survived by: her husband Don Cotton; her children, Julie Goulet (Marc) of Belleville and Jim Cotton (Keri-Ann Hamilton) of Port Credit; her grandsons, Scott and Nick Goulet; her great grandchild Ben Goulet; her sister Sheila Tamblyn (Bob) of Landsdown; and her siblings-in-law, Gwenny and Tom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
