She was predeceased by: her siblings, Allen Spencer and Gloria Benway. She is survived by: her husband Dave Brough; her children, Melissa Burris (Craig) and Dustin (Maryann); her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Calvin and Peanut; and her nephews, Dwayne, Dennis and David.

Cremation has taken place and due to the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Cheryl's Life will be held at a later date when circumstances allow.
