She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Edward Scott and Anna Munro MacKenzie (Reynolds); her husband David Brian Scarlett; and her nephew Charles Scott (Stephanie) of Markham. She is survived by : her sons, Brian E. Scarlett (Danielle) of Ottawa and Stephen A. Scarlett (Nancy) of San Antonio, Texas.; her grandsons, Spencer A. Scarlett and Brandon W. Trudel of Ottawa; her siblings, Ian Scott (Gloria) of Corbyville, Heather A. Storms (Wayne) of Belleville and Alistair Scott (Tina) of Trenton; her sister-in-law Joan Ticknor (Fred) of Caledon; her nieces, Jennifer McLean (David) of Whitby, Melinda Scott, Carolyn Scott of Toronto and Judi Ticknor; her nephew Kevin Ticknor (Melanie) of Caledon; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Ashton, Nolan Scott, Ella and Myah Scott.

Due to restrictions with COVID-19, a private family service will be held on July 13th, 2020, with internment taking place at Belleville Cemetery.
