He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Newland and Marjorie Newland; his brother Howard; and his sister-in-law Grace. He is survived by: his wife Mary Newland; his brother Harry Cornish (Sue); his daughters, Linda Stather (John) and Barbara Whitehead; and his grandchildren, Katlyn (Bryon), Candice, Sarah (Myron), Lindsay, Mitchell (Ashton) and Amy (Kyle).
