He was predeceased by : his parents, Violet Bain and Colin Bain; and his siblings, Scott (Maggie), Elaine and Glenda.

He is survived by : his children, Dennis Bain Jr. (Connie) and Kerry Bain (Cathy); and his sibling Sherilyn (Grewenig).
