He is survived by: his parent Frank Shorey; his children, Carolyn Scott (Paul) of Gananoque, Dianne Wallbridge (Jim) of Lansdowne and Elizabeth Stapley (late Jerry) of Belleville; his grandchildren, Andrew Scott (Stephanie), Christopher Scott (Stephanie), Angela Thompson (Ryan), Rob Wallbridge (Julie), Christa Wallbridge-MacInnis (Ian), Ted Wallbridge (Sarah), Jason Hall, Erica Hall, Andalyne Tofflemire (Richard) and Kelsey Stapley (Jake); his sibling Jean Tugnette (late Bernard); and his brother-in-law Bruce Holton (Leona).
