She was predeceased by: her parents, Maitland Patterson and Ida Mae Patterson; her husband Lenard Kirk; and her siblings, Leona Adams (late Lavern), Roy Patterson (late Ella) and Joan Martin (late Charles).

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Brooks (Robert), Lenard Kirk (Mary) and Melody Cranston (Rod Rankin); her grandchildren, Melody, Sophia, Melinda, Brooke, Thomas and Misty; and her great grandchildren, Ayva, Brody, Blake, Brady and Knoxon.
