We are sad to announce that, on December 17, 2020, at the age of 91, Doreen Heenan (Belleville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Triebner and Muriel Triebner; her husband John Michael Heenan; her children, Robert, James and Barbara; and her brothers, Douglas, William, Donald and Edward Triebner.

She is survived by: her children, Brian (late Lisa), Dave (Debbie) and Sharon; her brothers, Tom (Noella) and Jack; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Michaels, Adam, Elliot, Ashley and Alison; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Isabella, Liam and Madden.

Doreen was also an avid euchre player at the Wellington Legion, and Picton Elks Lodge, until COVID took this away from her this year.

If desired, donations may be made to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.

“My deepest condolences to Doreen’s family and friends on the loss of this wonderful woman. I had the pleasure of working with Doreen at Four Seasons cafe in the early 80s. Always a smile on her face she treated us coworkers like family. Back then she had an amazing collection of Blue Mountain pottery that she shared with us. I have a sweet memory of how she showed up in uniform to witness my City Hall marriage. May she RIP 😔”
