She was predeceased by: her parents, Orliffe Pearson and Dorothy Pearson; her husband Harry David Schamerhorn; her siblings, Marylou Pearson and Lloyd Pearson; and her brothers-in-law, Ron (late Dorothy), Bob, Ted (late Pat) and Rev. Edward Schamerhorn.

She is survived by: her son David Michael Schamerhorn of Belleville; her sister Vivian Cooke; and her sisters-in-law, Doreen Pearson, Marilyn and Edith Schamerhorn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
