He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Monica McLaughlin and Joseph D. Pickard; his wife Nicole; his siblings, Ruth Jones (late Mike) of Belwood, Diane Sharpe (Bob) of Oakville and Ken Pickard (Cindy) of Nepean; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn (late Don), Michelle Murray (Alan) and Marcel Girouard. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
