He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Thompson and Emma Thompson of Moira. He is survived by: his children, Robert Thompson, Paul Thompson, Beverly Thompson (Wayne Wall) and Lee Thompson; his sister Iva Graham (Gord); his siblings-in-law, Mary Reid, Lois Thompson, Barbara Thompson and Jim Jeffs; and his grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Hannah and Maija.
