Ellen Murphy Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 28, 2026, at the age of 82, Ellen Murphy (Belleville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ellen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Spratt and Ewart Spratt; and her sister Lyn Greenwood (Barry). She is survived by: her spouse Alphonsus Murphy (Al); her children, Sheridan Jennings (Paul) and Devin; and her granddaughters, Mariah Morgan (Ryan), Sophie, Emma and Kendra. She is also survived by nephews, and loving circles of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Society.
