She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Whitmash and Bertha Whitmash; and her siblings, Gerald, Raymond, Duane, Baden, Mildred O'Neill, Leona Asselstine, Thelma Withers and Dapheen Hawley. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, church family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steele Funeral Home (30 Moira St W, Belleville, ON K8P1S2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
