He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Monica Prevost, Maurean Leeming (Dave), Melvin Prevost (Tanya Hanthorn-Heaslip), Mitchell Prevost (Amie Daminato) and Marisa Prevost; his grandchildren, Kyle (Christina), Trevor (Brittney), Jordan, Liam, Braydon, Chloe and Alvin; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Ava and Nora; and his siblings, Harold Prevost, Laura Young, Shirley Kehoe (late Leonard), Helen Bosley (late Paul), Joan Stabler (late Joe) and Marjorie Hulsman (Henry). He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steele Funeral Home (30 Moira St W, Belleville, ON K8P1S2). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church (169 N Park St, Belleville, ON K8P4P1). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the St. Edmund's Catholic Cemetery (162 St Edmunds Rd, Tweed, ON K0K3J0).
