He is survived by: his children, Shannon Pike (Dylan Dowds) and Diane Carswell; his grandchildren, Logan MacLachlan and Kit Carswell; his brother Bill Carswell (Nicola Carswell); and his family, Joan Burton, Janice Burton, Melanie Burton-Vardy (Josh Vardy) and Jeffery Bethune.
