He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Sweet and Ruth Sweet; and his siblings, Shirley (late Bill), Bill (late Virginia), Anne (late Cecil), Laura (late Frank), Marlene (late Allen), Bernard (late Shirley), Fred (late Jean), Wayne, Bob, Debbie and Paula.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jim (late Sharon), Linda, Bonnie (Larry), Janice (Alex) and Larry (late Linda); his niece Cindy Caume (Gerry); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Holly, Paul, Rachael, Jordan and Jay.
