Gary Wray Swan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wray Swan (Belleville, Ontario), who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi (Carley) and Ross; and his brother Murray. He is survived by: his daughter Tabitha McKenzie; his son-in-law Sean; his grandson Silas; his sister Jane (Eric Deacon); his sister-in-law Marion; his niece Lindsay Swan; and his nephews, Eric and Mike Deacon (Melissa).

In lieu of flowers, Gary not being a flower guy, a donation to the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward will honour Gary's love for animals.
