She was predeceased by: her parents, Merland O'Brien and Velma O'Brien; and her brother Reginald O'Brien. She is survived by: her husband Jake Vandervelde; her sons, Michael Vandervelde (Sondra), David Vandervelde (Heather) and Jonathon Vandervelde (Cori); her granddaughters, Hannah, Rebekah, Ravi and Skylar; and her siblings-in-law, Jeannette O'Brien, Raymond Vandervelde (Beth), Annette Eisses and Daniel Vandervelde (June). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
