She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaroslan Savara and Vlasta Savara; her husband Leo Joseph Meier; her son Leo Meier Jr. Dearly; and her sibling Zdenka Henigman (late Frank).
She is survived by: her children, Tony Meier (Louise), Cathy Cassidy (Wayne), Carolin Cassidy (late Tim), Lili Meier and John Meier (Lisa); and her sibling Jerry Savara (Emeria). She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
If desired, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Alzheimers Society or the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward.
